Nintendo of Canada is giving an early gift to gamers this holiday. Beginning December 4th, ‘Gift of Play’ flyers will be distributed through major daily newspapers and participating retailers. The mail-in rebates will allow consumers to save on any purchase of a Nintendo GameCube system, Nintendo GameCube games, and the WaveBird Wireless controller. 

"This year holiday shoppers and gamers have access to the biggest library and selection of hardware and accessories that Nintendo has ever offered," says Ron Bertram, general manager, Nintendo of Canada Ltd. "With the explosion of gaming this year, we felt it was important to give consumers one more great reason to go with Nintendo as the gamers platform of choice... the best price ever!"

Mail-In Rebates

$30 mail-in rebate when you purchase a Jet Black, Indigo or Platinum Nintendo GameCube system, OR the Super Mario Sunshine bundle!

$10 mail-in rebate when you purchase any of the featured software titles OR the WaveBird Wireless Controller!

$10 mail-in rebate when consumers purchase any of the following software titles for Nintendo GameCube:
Animal Crossing Metroid Prime Super Mario Sunshine
Capcom v SNK 2:EO Reign of Fire Super Smash: Melee
Dead To Rights Resident Evil 0 Swingerz Golf
Eternal Darkness Robotech: Battlecry Time Splitters 2
Mario Party 4 Shrek: Extra Large
Metroid Prime Star Fox Adventures

Flyers will be made available at the following participating retailers: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Compucentre, Zellers, Electronics Boutique, Compusmart, Toys R Us, A&B Sound, and Microplay. Canadians will have to act fast because the rebate offer ends December 15th.
