Nintendo
Co. Ltd. announced new additions to the GameCube controller lineup
today. Following the upcoming release of the Platinum GameCube in
Japan on December 1st, Nintendo will introduce a Platinum GameCube
Controller and the never-before-seen Emerald GameCube Controller in
Japan on December 5th.
In
addition, Nintendo will release a Platinum WaveBird Controller in
Japan on December 5th. While Nintendo has yet to announce any plans
to bring the controller to North America, we find it to be a strong
possibility given the demand stateside. The standard Platinum
GameCube Controller is already available at retail in North
America.
