For more than a year,
gaming sites and boards have been abuzz with rumors of a Zelda
compilation disc under development at Nintendo for release on
GameCube. According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, a
leading gaming publication in Japan, the rumors are, well, much more
than just rumors. Japanese gamers who reserve The Legend of Zelda:
Kaze no Takuto before December 14th will receive a limited edition
compilation disc including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and
Ura Zelda of 64DD infamy.
While this is not quite the compilation we were all expecting, it
will do for now. The disc also includes video previews of F-Zero GC and
Biohazard 4. There are currently no known plans to bring the
compilation to North America. GameCubicle will have additional
information regarding the disc as it breaks. Below is a scan of the
page in Famitsu Magazine
that reports this story.
