Nintendo's
booth was, without question, the best designed and most spectacular
of the entire show. Closed off from the rest of the show floor by
large walls bearing Nintendo images, the booth held a treasure of
game kiosks, private viewing booths, and light spectacles. At the
entrance of the Nintendo area was a sleek piece of architecture that
squirted water into the air from one hole to the next. Inside, the
Nintendo floor was dark - illuminated by spectacular light shows.
Nintendo provided a large number of high definition kiosks for
gamers to go hands on with all of the finest Nintendo GameCube
titles – not to mention cute floor girls.

For
those interested in discussing Nintendo's industry position and
games with executives and representatives, Nintendo provided. During
the first hour that the Nintendo booth was open, GameCubicle was
lucky enough to meet with NOA Vice President, Peter Main, on the
floor and discuss Nintendo's future. In the viewing booths, Nintendo
representatives were available to discuss each title in a one on one
and group setting. Floor representatives (imaged above) were very
helpful in assisting with games on display.

The
merchandise section of Nintendo's floor turned out to be one of the
most exciting areas of the booth. GameCubicle gives you an early
look at kiosks (imaged above) that will soon on display at video
game retailers around the world. The displays are generally far more
stylish than any seen before. Revealed for the first time ever in
this store display section was the software packaging for future
GameCube games. Also imaged above was a convention display that has
nothing to do with Nintendo store displays but we thought was cool.
