Below is a list of
games that we urge all of our intelligent visitors to avoid. Sometimes
games can provide an enjoyable experience for those smart enough to
have gotten their hands on a copy - see Must-Haves
for a list of such
titles. Other times, games can be simply horrible... providing a fun
experience to a very slim few and a major headache to a majority that
just wishes they could get their money back. We are here to stop the
nonsense. Avoid these games...

Tom
Clancy's Ghost Recon
|
Developer: Red Storm
What Makes it Bad: Lackluster Graphics;
Tedious Repetitive Gameplay; Little Replay Value |

With Splinter Cell still a few weeks away, it was thought that Ubi
Soft's Ghost Recon might be just the tactical action game to hold
GameCube owners in the interim. It wasn't. IGN writes, "This
latest Tom Clancy title to hit the Cube ships under the clever guise
of a quality "Game of the Year" package, but in reality, it
is nothing more than a below average port of a once great military
shooter."
GameSpot reviewers add, "Frustration carries over to just about
every element of the game thanks to its poor artificial intelligence,
graphical flaws, and repetitive mission objectives."
