Buckle up - it's sheer
asphalt anarchy! Crazy Taxi screeches onto Nintendo GameCube with
one wild and hilarious joy-riding jaunt. As a fearless cabbie with
attitude, you're driven by a single goal: to rack up the mega-bucks
in fares and tips before your shift ends. It's a race against the
clock as you pick up passengers and white-knuckle it through busy
streets and back alleys to their various destinations. To keep that
meter collecting cash, you've gotta take the fastest route possible,
even if it means bending the traffic laws - just a little. Drive the
wrong way down a one-way street, catch air as you sail over
rooftops, swerve between oncoming traffic, or plough through a
pavement cafe. But beware - the city is full of obstacles that are
guaranteed to slow you down. - Review provided by Sega

IGN Cube:
"Crazy Taxi is an awesome game if you didn't play it on
previous systems. Don't let its original 1998 release sway you from
picking it up for GameCube if you haven't played it before. Chances
are you've heard good things about it and now you can enjoy it on a
Nintendo system."

GameSpot:
"Crazy Taxi was a fun game two years ago. Today, however, the
GameCube version serves little purpose other than to give a solid
modern example of "shovelware." The taxis look decent, but
the surrounding environments are a muddy mess. Sega's Dreamcast
legacy deserves better."

Planet GameCube:
"Crazy Taxi for GameCube is no different than other versions of
the game—but this also means it’s just as fun and wild as it
always was. The home version includes a whole second city to play
in. Pretty much everyone loves the Crazy Taxi gameplay, which is a
major part of the game's appeal." |
