Mystic Heroes
is based on the ancient Chinese tale known as “Houshin Engi”-
the first sci-fi fantasy novel ever written. In a mythical kingdom,
the evil Kang and his iron-fisted wife Sheva have raised an army of
undead warriors. Four brave Mystics must rise against the shadow of
darkness that has engulfed their land. Players take the role of a
Mystic who must fight through the ranks of Kang’s enemy soldiers.
Each Mystic possesses incredible fighting skill and wields a
breathtaking arsenal of powerful elemental spells. Along the way,
players must uncover 70 runes that will improve their spell casting
powers. Mystic Heroes also features exciting four-player versus and
co-op modes, multiple storylines, intense melee fighting action, and
devastating multi-hit combos. In the game, players can explore over
24 free-roaming stages filled with horrid beasts, archers, wizards,
huge fortresses, and monsters of legendary proportions.

IGN Cube:
"Mystic Heroes is simple and to-the-point arcade action. I like
it for the immediate satisfaction. You can jump into the game and
start testing out buttons and attacks without too much consequence.
Battling through hordes of enemies and then taking out a huge boss
is pretty enjoyable..."

Spot:
"Mystic Heroes has some solid action, but it highlights the
major trade-off between itself and its history-based cousin Dynasty
Warriors: The fantasy theme allows for more-exciting game elements
like huge boss battles and impressive magic attacks, but the
historical games can get away..."
